I truly believe that once you get the relationship with yourself in order then everything else falls into place.  If you want a house built you’re not going to do it yourself,  you’re going to get a builder (that is presuming your not a builder already), but even then you wouldn’t do it on your own!  Well the same applies to us.  Often when we are part of the picture we can’t see the whole picture clearly.  That’s where I come in.

When we have past hurts that we haven’t healed from, low self-esteem, lack of self-love and we doubt ourselves constantly, it is going to show up in so many ways:

Why with me?

Not only have I worked for 18 years in the field of mental health, addictions, youth work and domestic abuse, I am also someone who has walked the walk, sometimes maybe on my hands and knees, but never the less kept moving forward. Alongside my expertise and knowledge there is a raw experience that has been tried and tested, so I am living proof that if you are willing to put in the action, it can transform you and your life. That does not mean to say life will not be challenging, that you will not experience set backs as that is all part of the journey, but I do know that you will always be happy that you took the first step.

Why do I do it?

I do this because I know the suffering that comes from being stuck and know the freedom that can be felt from learning a new way of being, and I want to see others experience that freedom and all that comes with it!


Firstly I want you to understand that when we work together, I can lead you to water but I can’t force you to drink! I can give you all the tools, but applying them has to come from you.  I’m here to teach you to help yourself and gain insight into how to do that. I’m real and honest and am not afraid to ask the questions that need asking. I don’t use just one approach; my years of study, working with people and my own personal development journey enable me to draw from many different frameworks and philosophies. I’ll adapt myself to what I feel best works with you and your character.

I’ll work with you to make the changes you need to live a more fulfilling and happier life. I’ll never judge, whatever your situation, whatever you feel, whatever your choices, but I will lovingly challenge you so that you can experience freedom.

Questions you might have

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on what you wish to achieve. I suggest that clients commit to at least 6 sessions if they want to see real, sustainable change. However I try and be flexible to your needs, so am happy to do individual sessions and intensives too.

How often should I have a session?

I work with the client’s needs. Usually I suggest clients have one session weekly or fortnightly initially, to kick-start their development. Then we can do monthly follow-on’s if needed.

Is it like therapy?

No it’s not like therapy, don’t get me wrong, therapy has it’s place but coaching is way more about how experiences are affecting you in the present and what can be done to change that moving forward. The only reason we will look at your past is to recognise how those experiences impact on the now and what you can do to release it.


I do most of my sessions via Zoom, but if you are local to the Christchurch area and prefer face to face then this can be done at a location of your choice that is comfortable for you.
